Registration

  • This conference registration is for AESA General Members in good standing with AESA.

    The deadline for registration will be 11:59 p.m. on August 3, 2018. Late registration fee will be $250.00 at the door.
  • The regular registration period closed on August 3rd to finalize food and other accommodations for this event. Limited late registrations will be accepted at an increased fee for members or non-members.
  • The Non-Member registration is for those who have no membership affiliation with AESA, and do not wish to become members at this time. If you wish to become a member, please go to the Membership section to register. Once your membership is paid and approved you will have the option to select the Member Only registration. Conference fees for members are $155. The deadline for registration at this rate is August 3, 2018.
  • To be used by Board for Sponsor Registration ONLY.
  • This is reserved for AESA Student Members who are in good standing.

Dr. David Griffin

On June 18, 2007, nine firefighters perished in a furniture warehouse fire in Charleston, South Carolina.  The engineer of the first-arriving engine, David, relates how this experience has changed education and training on a national level.  David gives a riveting account of what he witnessed that day, and the crisis that ensued in the fire service and his personal life as well.  Additionally David will speak on his doctoral research on organizational crisis and how an organization can utilize organizational learning to improve upon crisis.
